MATT VERRIER... and his vision
Matt is the co-founder and owner of WHITE KEY.
Matt is a Master Builder, with 30+ years building homes and working with homeowners and contractors in Rhode Island, mainly Newport and Washington County (what we locals call South County). He has spent his entire career at the intersection of homes and the people who care for them — working alongside homeowners and contractors, watching both sides navigate a system that too often lets them down. He saw homeowners paralyzed by the stress of finding reliable help, unsure who to call, afraid of what it would cost, and exhausted by the mental load of just keeping their home standing. He watched skilled, talented contractors — true craftspeople — buried in back-office chaos, struggling to build sustainable businesses while their phones stayed silent. He knew there had to be a better way.
WHITE KEY is that better way. Matt founded WHITE KEY on the belief that homeownership should feel like a privilege, not a burden — and that the trades deserve a system that honors their craft and fuels their growth. His vision is a company that is both high-tech and deeply human — a seamless digital experience powered by real relationships, where every member has a dedicated Home Wellness Specialist who knows their home, answers their call, and makes them feel like a priority every single time. Technology does the heavy lifting. People deliver the care. That balance is WHITE KEY.

Kristy brings a rare and powerful combination to WHITE KEY — one that is equal parts strategic vision, human connection, and real-world homeownership expertise. After more than two decades leading talent development for some of the world's most recognized corporations, Kristy understands better than most what it takes to build systems, cultures, and experiences that truly work for people. In 2023, what began as helping family and friends navigate the world of short-term rentals grew into a thriving career as a licensed real estate agent serving luxury homeowners across Newport and Washington County. Along the way, Kristy developed an intimate understanding of what coastal homeowners need, what they worry about, and what they deserve — and she never stopped thinking about how to make their experience better.
When Matt shared his vision for WHITE KEY, Kristy recognized immediately that her background in business consulting, customer experience, and technology — paired with her deep roots in the luxury real estate market — makes her the perfect partner to turn WHITE KEY'S vision into reality. Where Matt sees the problem, Kristy builds the solution. Together, they are creating something the coastal homeowner market has never seen before.
